We absolutely guarantee that the sample or decant of perfume you purchase from perfUUm is the genuine, authentic perfume taken from the manufacturer's bottle and decanted by hand.  Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will like it.  You may even hate it.  Therefore, once it leaves our warehouse it cannot be returned for a refund.  There will be a 20% restocking fee if we do accept any return for any reason other than an error on our part.

We carefully wrap all packages so your purchase will arrive safely.  Sometimes the USPS severely damages packages.  If you get our package and the bottle has broken or leaked, please snap a photo and email the photo and order number to us with a note stating which bottles were damaged.  Upon receipt of the email and photo(s), we will send a replacement package for the damaged items.

We ask that you please inspect your package upon receipt and notify us within 3 days if there is a problem.

Glad I Got the Sample First

Let me start by saying that packaging and shipping by perfuum.com was excellent as usual. I ordered two different 2ml spray samples this time, and they were rolled up in bubble wrap before being packaged in a bubble mailer envelope.
I decided to try Encelade by this designer because I have already tried two other fragrances by Marc-Antoine Barrois, and was very impressed with them; Ganymede and B683. I actually ordered a full size 100ml bottle of Ganymede because I loved its scent so much. That being said, Encelade definitely isn't for me. I was very curious as how this would smell as its scent profile lists Rhubarb in addition to the more familiar Sandalwood, Cedar, Tonka Bean, and Vetiver.
To me it is very green (almost too green), very earthy, woody, and aromatic. The only other fragrance I would compare it to would be Terre d'Hermes for men by Hermes; just a personal opinion. I'm giving it 4 stars because I believe some people will like the absolute uniqueness of this scent as I did with Ganymede. Order at minimum the 2 or 3ml sample, and see if this will become your signature scent.
