I could not wait to try this fragrance after becoming acquainted with the other Chanel Les Exclusifs line. I have read the tragic story of Coco's lover, Boy Chapel, the inspiration for this fragrance. It is certainly unisex and I love that you are not hit with a wall of sweet flowers. It is elegant, unique, and understandable that this scent would be a tribute to a very memorable character. You will not smell like everyone else coming and going. I will now purchase a full bottle of Boy.

First of all, shipping was fast and came in a good quality mini bottle. Was labeled nicely and included the batch code, which I think it great. The fragrance itself is really, really nice. It smells like a high quality hair salon/barber shop. Specifically, it smells very powdery to me ... like you're at the barbershop and they dust you with some really luxurious, wonderful smelling powder. Stays pretty close to the skin, so not a lot of projection. But I also don't think this is the kind of scent that is supposed to project very far. It's meant to be more intimate. You'll catch pleasant wiffs of powdery goodness, but it's not going to fill a room. Despite mild projection, it seems to last pretty long. This is high quality and smells natural, not like the monstrous projection synthetic stuff out there. Very classy, very flattering. I think either sex could wear it, but it really a masculine scent. It's the kind of scent that's actually masculine, but your girlfriend would secretly want for herself and would maybe steal a few sprays from your bottle.
