I was on this osmanthus kick earlier this year. I couldn't get enough of it. Sunshine Woman certainly fit the bill. I'm glad decants are available here (and at a reasonable price). I wasn't about to shell out $340 to satisfy a craving. Instead, I got a 15 ml decant, which, in my wardrobe logic, counts as a full bottle! Yes, Amouage bottles are very pretty and Sunshine does stand out among them. Maybe at a later time. So..... how is the scent? I know it is extremely popular, but, then, Luca Turin gave it one lousy star! Well, I like it much more than that. A sweet osmanthus scent with modest sillage. I enjoy wearing it. Definitely unisex.
Gorgeous scent. Rich, deep, resinous, and only slightly sweet. The myrrh is the focus of this fragrance. There is a chocolate sensation to this fragrance as well, which I find quite nice. Also a slight citrus at the top of this. The Amber Pour Homme DNA is in the background of this, but all the other notes overshadow it, which makes it a completely different fragrance. This is definitely suited for cool nights or colder days, ideally cloudy/rainy. This is also a fragrance which is hard to wear casually. Need to be dressed well to pull this off. Go easy on the sprays and don't spray it directly in front of you. It can be irritating if over sprayed. Projection is not huge, but the combination of notes is very intense as the name suggests. Kind of hits you hard at first. But I will say don't let that scare you off. This is an incredibly beautiful fragrance that would work perfect in the right situations.
Shipping was fast and when I sprayed the fragrance smelled wonderful and the longevity lasted on my skin for about 6+ hours. I like this fragrance so much I went ahead a purchased a full bottle (6.8) from Chanel.
